Apologies if I implied you needed JavaSVN. I merely meant for me,
going with JavaSVN was the path of least resistance. I recently set
up a SuSE 9.3 desktop (the first Linux desktop I've messed with in
about 3 years), and it only has packages for Subversion 1.1. Rather
than mess up all the dependencies, I decided to give JavaSVN ago, and
it made things all better for me. It was my first experience with
JavaSVN (I haven't needed it on my XP box or my PowerBook), and I was
quite pleasantly surprised how little effort it took to get working
together with Subclipse. It's rare you find a project that you just
type "ant" and it builds without headache.
