Hi Ian,

I have eclipse-3.0.1_4 compiled from ports a few weeks ago.

I installed subclipse online from the update site.

I first tried with JavaSVN, but that has a couple problems (too slow on
large repositories, sometimes NPE when opening history, if I checkout
symlinks I get short text files instead).

Then I rebuilt apache2 with threads enabled (had to hack the Makefile,
add --enable-threads=yes to configure flags). This was needed because
subversion below wants to reference the Apache APR, and when building
the Java binding I do need thread support.

Then I rebuilt subversion-perl with WITH_MOD_DAV_SVN=yes WITH_BOOK=yes
WITH_JAVA=yes (and of course I had to remove the comment marks from the
Java definitions in the subversion Makefile).

Works fine for me. Since yesterday, actually, so not too much
experience.
