Try JavaSVN; it works fine on our Macs. I'm running Eclipse 3.0.2 /
Subclipse 0.9.30 / JavaSVN 0.8.8.1 on this PowerBook and have had
none of the problems you describe.

Either remove and reinstall it; or start with a fresh Eclipse. That's
never failed for me on OS X or Linux (we also have several users on
Linux using Subclipse and JavaSVN without issues).
