1. What you may find is that there is a dialog that is behind eclipse.
I found such a thing yesterday. If you can Alt-Tab to a background
window (which has an error message (probably "Syncronization failed on
0... resources"), and hit enter (mouse click will remove focus from
dialog, everything should come back.
So far, this technique has saved most of my eclipse "hangs" this week.
2. Question to the developers: A while ago I asked about
synchronization versions, and it getting confused when you have
externals from a different repository (and different version numbers).
Is this a "known" issue? Will it be fixed?
