Unable to install

Hi Guys,

I'm attempting to install Subclipse 0.9.28 on Eclipse Version: 3.0.1, Build
id: 200409161125 but always receive the following error: -

Subclipse (0.9.28) requires plug-in "org.eclipse.core.resources".

In the Install/Update dialog (once I've connected to
http://subclipse.tigris.org/update and got a list of available features)
when I tick 'Subclipse' a red cross appears on it and the above error. When
I click 'Error Details' I get the following information: -

Requested operation cannot be performed because it would invalidate the
current configuration. See details for more information.
  Subclipse (0.9.28) Update conflict detected (see details). Please deselect
this update and try again.
  Subclipse (0.9.28) requires plug-in "org.eclipse.core.resources".

My plugins folder DOES contain this plugin, so why can't the installer find
it!?
