Well I'd have /repos/project/trunk etc but I think we mean the same
thing. What is the root url used for anyway? What can go wrong if it's
not set to the right location?

I meant: since tags and branches are cheap copies and not some attribute
on the files like in CVS. Don't get me wrong, I love the way subversion
does this.

I'm using this layout. That way we can check out project to get all tags
and branches, or project/trunk to get the latest.
