Yes, for example Mandrake Soft is only shipping that kind of programs
which can be build by using other tools and libraries they can freely ship
and because they can not ship javac they can not build javahl and does
not include it in their subversion rpm. (They are however delivering such
kind of java apps what they can build with gcj)

I am got everything working even I am using Mandrakes subversion rpm
packages.
I just build and installed the javahl library by myself by using sources
I downloaded
from the subversion homepage.
