Brock just happened to check-in a fix to core this AM before this message
came through that seems related.

"Resolved long standing issue with .svn files showing after checkout and
commits of new files.

* OperationManager.java
Use a LinkedHashSet to maintain insertion order
Add the parent folder to the set before the child"

So perhaps this will be fixed in next version, or you could pull and build
the trunk to see?
