    In my opinion, not really. To me, its most important raison d'etre is to
track refactoring operations, which it already does beautifully. I don't do
any other version control operations from within Eclipse.

    I mention the comparison because you are implicitly saying:

CVS + (great Eclipse integration) > SVN + (better VC features) - (missing
Eclipse synchronization)

    In my calculus, the better version control features far outweigh the
synchronization support.

    However, I might well feel differently if I was stuck on Linux, too,
without TortoiseSVN.
