subclipse for freebsd

hi again,

i ask this question once before in this mailinglist:

is it possible to get a version of subclipse for freebsd/unix via the
update-site?
i thought it wouldn't be a big deal to create a version for the
unix-platform. i would try to help with this - like building or testing this
version, but i might need some info and/or help from your side.

if it is not the right place, please give me a short answer too.
