Hey Paul,
Yrch! Alrighty then. Well, reading the subverion book would be a choice place to start (http://svnbook.red-bean.com/).
I guess the basic steps would be
Install subversion & subclipse & eclipse
Create a repository (see the book)
Import the project into your workspace
Use the SVN Repository Explorer perspective in eclipse to connect to the repository
Right click on the project in the Navigator view and choose Team|Share
Go through all of the files in the project and either Team|Add to version control or Team|Add to svn:ignore depending on if you want version the file or not.
Right click on the project in the Navigator view and choose Team|Commit
Ta da!
Go here
http://www.oreillynet.com/search/
and search for subversion and then eclipse.
That will show you some useful articles and excellent books.
Best of luck,
Chris
