And when I try to go to the SVN Repository Exploring perspective, I get the
following error:

Problems opening perspective:
org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.ui.svnPerspective

Subversion is installed on a different computer, and is exposed via WebDAV
through Apache. I can see the repository in my browser.

I tried to create the project from the computer with Subversion installed,
but each time I tried to add a new directory to svn, eclipse would lock up
for five minutes after I right-clicked to access the Team submenu.
Ridiculous. That machine has two Xeon processors and a gig of RAM. I
closed every other program and the performance was still horrible. I don't
know what's going on.

So I'm trying to access that machines Subversion repository via Subclipse
from my laptop, but now I'm getting the above error.

I have now spent 16 hours trying to make Subclipse work, and I'm still
struggling. I'm not going to complain, because it is free and it is
pre-1.0, but I am frustrated and would appreciate some help.

The only thing I can figure is that since it works on the Subversion
machine, but not on the non-subversion machine, that it must be using some
file that is contained in Subversion. Can anyone please help me out before
I waste any more time with this. I'm only going to spend a couple more
hours on this until its cvs time.

Another thing I couldn't figure out after a couple of failed attempts, where
I completely uninstalled Subclipse, manually removed the plugin directories,
and reintalled it, is that when I chose the option to delete all of the SVN
metadata, the information was NOT deleted and I was NOT informed about any
errors deleting it. So every time I tried to share the project again, my
src directory wasn't getting picked up. All of the SVN metadata files and
directories were hidden until I showed hidden files, so I finally figured
that out. After a few hours.

Thanks,
Adrian Klingel
