AW: Using a branch

Hi,

in subversion there is no "native" Branch or "Tags" "Release" thingy,
as it is the case with CVS, VSS and others.

In Subversion you would issue a copy from the trunk into a branch subdir.

Go and read the chapter 4 (branching and merging) of the subversion book
(svnbook.red-bean.com).
Here the subversion way of doing branches tgas and releases are explained.

have fun

Betreff: Using a branch
I'm new to Subclipse and have what may end up being a very simple question:
How do you specify a particular branch to use? It seems as though Subclipse
always pulls the head of the trunk. Can I get it to pull the head of a
specific branch? Can I pull a particular tagged version of a file or
directory?
Thanks,
CJ
