Using multiple clients

Hey:

If I'm using eclipse and subclipse plugin primarily, but then there are a
few operations that I like to use another client for (features unmentioned
out of very sincere respect for the hard working author of subclipse),
should I worry about "compatability" of my checked-out code?

So...specifically, can I install tortoise svn and use it and count on things
being accurate in eclipse and vice-versa? I know frighteningly little about
how SVN clients work...hopefully I can keep it that way.
