AW: update site FIXED

Sorry,

I did a reinstall this morning after reading your post.
I'm sorry to inform you that exact the same problem
persists (error while creating org. .subclipse.ui)

Shal I download a later version of eclipse RC2.
I suspect it could be that our proxies are still serving me the old
packages.

Can I somehow mirror loonsoft.com/updates to my personal site,
so I can force the proxy to load the new packages?

If there's anyway I can otherwise help you,
go ahead and ask.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With kind regards

Huibert Alblas

Betreff: update site FIXED

Greetings,

I just tested the new fangled update site on linux with good results.
hopefully other platforms will see the same results.

As a side note, it appears that much of my trouble was due to an unrelated
osgi bundle-loading problem which caused most of the eclipse core bundles to

be marked as broken.

if you continue to have issues with the update site, go to help->software
update->manage configurations and ensure that you are free of red x's.
update->If
you (like me) are infested with red x's in important places, remove your
eclipse instance, delete your workspace metadata (sorry), configuration, and

anything else you suspect, and re-install. these (admittedly drastic) steps

did the trick for me.

again, the update site is at http://www.loonsoft.com/updates

Good luck!
