Multiple Eclipse clients

I've set up subversion 0.24.2-6284 and subclipse 0.6.0. I can successfully
create a repository using the Apache SVNParentPath command, and access it
from Eclipse.

However, it only works if I'm the only one using the specified module in
that repository. If someone else tries to share their project into that
repository, then after the "Module 'insertNameHere' already exists remotely.
Would you like to synchronize your local project with the existing remote
module"? question, and I select "Yes", nothing happens. My local project
stays a local project, and doesn't get hooked up to the repository.

Are we doing something wrong, or is this a known occurrence?

Thanks.
