Re: [Subclipse-dev] Subclipse API

I was imagining that my code could be moved into Subclipse core and not have
to be a separate plugin. However, I was forgetting that my code was
dependent on the JDT and that Subclipse does not currently depend on JDT.

It seems like the best approach would be to continue to package my code as a
separate library plugin which provides a JDT oriented API onto Subclipse.
Perhaps a link could then be added to the Subclipse development page (
http://subclipse.tigris.org/wiki/SubclipseDevelopment) to point to my
plugin.

Having written this code I am keen to make it available in case anyone else
might find it useful. I am strongly of the opinion that adding SVN awareness
to other eclipse plugins adds value. Furthermore, it seem to me that this
would be an interesting new area for the existing Subclipse developers to
look at as a way of leveraging the existing Subclipse code.
