We did this earlier and it led to problems so we removed it. If the
feature is working better, we can try again. Scripts would be good.
I build Subclipse using Eclipse 3.2, so I cannot use the built-in
features in 3.4 to generate the files.

I recall that one of the problems is that the update site contains the
JARs for older releases and this seems to mess up the p2 metadata
scripts.
