Yeah, I do not want to invest that much time in this. I just tried
the site using the installer within Eclipse. It still works. Looks
the same as before so I am not sure if the stuff I did has any impact
on it or not.

It all seems very fragile and none of the old workarounds work
anymore. Once I install a few plug-ins I can no longer bring up the
install UI. Putting stuff in the dropins folder seems to do nothing
etc...

Not what I typically expect from Eclipse this close to a release.
