Hi,
Buckminster delivers a Subclipse feature that contains the Buckminster
Subclipse support. Due to IP-restrictions we cannot reference plug-ins
that reside outside of Eclipse.org. The only thing that can be done is
to express requirements on installed bundles. In most cases, this is OK.
The user installs Subclipse into his environment and then our feature.
If the user wants to run in a headless environment this will however not
work since there's no option to install only the headless parts of
Subclipse.
So, in short, since we are restricted from creating and publishing a
feature on our own that contains only the headless parts of Subclipse,
and since you don't provide such a feature either, there's no way to run
Buckminster with Subclipse without extending it with a large amount of
undesired, UI dependent, plug-ins.
The cleanest solution for this that I can think of is if you would
consider providing a headless feature that didn't include the ui and doc
plug-ins. Perhaps you do already but I'm not able to find it?
Kind Regards,
Thomas Hallgren
