As the providers of the Yoxos Eclipse Distribution, we strive to provide our customers with a library of compatible plugins which are popular, useful
and of high quality. Your Eclipse plugin or plugins are included on our distribution because they meet these standards.
The popularity of Eclipse can be largely attributed to the ecosystem of developers who create innovative extensions and add-ons. It is a mission of
Yoxos to help developers and companies benefit from such a broad and robust set of technologies.
Our cooperation with the plugin providers is an important priority. While we have corresponded with many of you in the past and worked with you to
improve your plugins, we would like to do a better job of supporting you in your efforts. As a start, we have founded the Plugin Partner Program
which you are invited to join. There is no cost and there a number of benefits:
· A free subscription to the Yoxos distribution (valued at $99)
· A direct link for your web site to an ready-to-download Eclipse distribution including your plugin and all the necessary dependencies
(including Eclipse Platform and RCP)
· Enhanced quality assessment and best practices feedback to help you improve your plugin. Innoopract has recently developed a plugin
quality assessment tool that helps us identify areas of improvement and better adherence to Eclipse best practices.
To be eligible, partners simply need have a plugin that meets the Yoxos quality standards and is included in Yoxos. Plugin Partners will be given an
icon that links to a download of their plugin on Yoxos on Demand that they display on the download pages of their website.
