In #1, I was comparing the wide layout of the pending ops view with the
tall layout of the Synch view in the Synch perspective - an unfair
comparison, Eclipse optimizes the vertical real-estate quite well (and
without the table headers, Synch view actually ends up giving MORE space
for content than the pending ops view.
I also found out I could suppress changing the perspective when synching.
The upshot is a +1
