I've described a quick way to get same sync view content for CVS in
one of my emails yesterday. You can use comparison from currently
checked out code to some tag or date...

Right. You can also do switch with CVS (called "replace with..."),
but then it will create sticky tag, so it won't show any incoming
updates. Thought you still should be able to run comparison.
