How do you use/enable the feature?

I am testing this in Eclipse 3.1 (which is what we
would require for this patch). The commit set option
is grayed out in the Synch view. I found a value in
Preferences.java that you added and changed it to
true, but that does not change anything.

There is an error in the runtime Console about the
commit action set. Perhaps that is the problem?
