Well, if by "incoming marker" you mean the + sign, then that's strange.
The + should be displayed for Added resources only.
The dir prop change should not be considered as adding.

I'm usually running in the compressed folders, so I have never noticed it.
Can you point me to some reproducible example so I can debug it ?
