Thanks for the suggestion, but I am going to leave it. I have always done
it the way I have shown, and the main point is really just to turn on the
light bulb about LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I think that *nix users such as
yourself are smart enough to take that info and realize there are a lot of
different ways to do it.
