Pre-selecting selected files on commit

On the Synchronize view, if I select some files (one of them is not
under version control) and click Commit, I have to re-select the files
which are noe under version control on the Commit dialog that opens. If
I had files selected when I clicked Commit, shouldn't they be
pre-selected on the commit dialog?
