Basically because I'm using both of those repositories views form a
Java perspective as a quick views. See first attachment. Two identical
icons look really distracting.

Right, it could be better. But I think it look better in Eclipse then
you can see in a viewer (see first screen shot again for an example).
However I'm open for suggestions how to make it better.
Not sure if it would be intuitive that it is svn repository without
svn on it as there is no recognizable logo or anything for svn. BTW
TortoiseSVN has an icon for repository browser action, but it look even
more confusing to me.
Ideally it would be really cool to have both svn and cvs repositories
on the same view, but it is not what Eclipse guys are willing to
support. Similar problem we have with svn resources history.
