Yes, i have seen this before. There is an issue
(http://subclipse.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=212) that covers
this, but the reporter hasn't gotten back to me yet. The problem seems
to be with linked resources. IResource.getLocation can return null if
there is an unbound path variable. I have no idea what this really
means because i don't use linked resources. Is your project located in
your workspace, or do you link your project to an external directory?

I might have a play with this tomorrow (yay Australia Day!) to see if i
can reproduce it.
