Re: pathes passed to subversion? (In reply to: Various Subclipse issues)

Dear List,

I have finally succeded recompiling subclipse 0.9.0 on my system.
Installing the new jars in the plugin directories and restarting Eclipse gave
similar problems as discussed before.
During running the new plugin as "Run-time workbench" I noticed, that it worked
without problems.

Therefore I deleted all my plugin settings from workspace/.metadata/.plugins and
now subclipse seems to work correctly.

HTH,

Jens

Two newbie questions:

1.) What is the supposed outcome, if I select "Compare with -> Latest from
Repository" from the context menu of a project (and not a file).
Why are ".svn" directories shown there?

2.) There was some heavy tweaking of the classpath necessary to finally compile
subclipse. I had to compare an example project created by the plugin wizard to
finally get it correct. Especially version differences in pathes like
"ECLIPSE_HOME/plugin/org.eclipse*_2.1.x" were a pain. Could this be parametrized
in ant's build.xml?
