Just copy the two plugins from subclipse 0.8 for windows to Linux (in
eclipse\plugins)
Make sure it can fin javahl.so (the one from McClain Looney).
javahl is the only component that is platform-dependant.
The threading problem does not appear just by starting eclipse but when
you try to checkout a project for example.
