Sorry, my look-up was incorrect. -prune is indeed in POSIX. Sorry for the confusion.

(To answer your question, I looked in the find(1posix) man page provided
by the manpages-posix/manpages-posix-dev Debian packages, but forgot
those man pages use dashes rather than ASCII hyphen-minuses:
