Do you use any special incantation when merging 'staging' to
'publish'? Asking because it wants to modify mergeinfo on index.html,
news.html, and roadmap.html (though no content changes to these
files are apparent). Thanks.

Great idea! Done in r1869871.

While I was there, I made a few more improvements to INSTALL:

r1869870 and r1869868 regarding Berkeley DB being deprecated.
Previously the "Dependencies Overview" section only mentioned that at
the very end and you'd have to read the entire paragraph to see it.
The "Dependencies in Detail" section made no mention of it. Hopefully
the text is more clear now.

And:

r1869866: Fix a grammar error regarding the optional NASM dependency.
Only because this one has bothered me for a while. :-)
