Not optional. Remember why I wrote it - reposurgeon. As long as I maintain
reposurgeon I expect I'll keep tripping over details that aren't in there yet,
and I'll want to add them so I don't have to rely on memory.

Can't do it; either my old password (which I found in my browser store) or my
ID seem to have been invalidated, probably when the CLA requirement was added.
