That's pretty important, yes.

Forget about overlap periods, for a moment. Then there will be usually 3 supported lines (after a standard release) and sometimes 2 (after an LTS release). Previously we have had 2 supported release lines at all times. Are we comfortable with that increase, and an implicit promise to backport security fixes to all of them at once?
