Yes, something like that would be a great help. Maybe using an option
for providing the "backup-path" (so the default behavior remains the
same if you don't provide a backup-path). If we really want to go all
the way, there should maybe be some "uniquifying" of the backup path,
or of a subdir thereof (so multiple failures of the same test (if you
leave different test combinations running all night) don't overwrite
each other's backup).
