I don't know whether you already got an answer by someone else for this issue.

You did write to the SVN developers list, maybe you get better answers when asking on the users list, or getting in touch with one of the companies which provide commercial support for SVN (for example Elego, Collab.net or WanDisco).

That said, a very plausible explanation for repository corruption is hardware failure. Those may be spurious, or permanent (damaged RAM, defect hard disk sector). So you should investigate that issue, to prevent further problems...
