Another interesting FAIL is:

./commit_tests.py 38 --server-minor-version 3

where the stderr message doesn't match:

-Warning: 'post-commit' hook failed with error output:
+Warning: post-commit hook failed (exit code 1) with output:

I've not investigated why the error message is different.
