Access violation when committing

I get an access violation when committing from explorer context menu, since I updated to version 1.7.
The directory contained a directory from another repository, and it maybe was not cleaned up properly.

Unhandled exception at 0x000007fef1631829 in TortoiseProc.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000000.

Cleaning up the working copy status succeeds and does not change anything.
