Recursive deletion of property throws unnecessary warning

From: Vincent Lefevre <vincent-svn_at_vinc17.net>

I got the following warning with: svn pdel -R svn:eol-style .

svn: Attempting to delete nonexistent property 'svn:eol-style'

using svn 1.6.17, and exit status 1. I think this should be regarded
as a bug. I've searched with Google and found that this problem is
not new:

This message seems to have no replies and I didn't find an issue
on the issue tracker.

What's the status of this problem?
