I believe we sent a proper patch. Both for this topic/issue and other
topic/issues.

Gavin 'Beau' Baumanis <gavinb_at_thespidernet.com> was even forced? to
sent a ping on the 21. july in a different thread named "Re: [PATCH]
issue 3427: lookup author email based on username from file"

I think this and other patches just fell through.
