ant.apache.org, apr.apache.org, stdcxx.apache.org, maven.apache.org ...
all look basically the same to me. I wouldn't mind taking hints from
www.apache.org, either.

The branding bits are quite important. For the rest, just follow what's
on apr.apache.org and you can't go wrong. Also make space for promoting
ASF events, e.g., the ApacheCon; and SVN-specific events, e.g., SubConf.
