For the users@ list I think we should give weeks of notice not hours.
I think we should announce the availability of these lists immediately
and ask dev@ and users@ to switch over ASAP. At the same time
announce a date for each list when we will make it read-only or do
whatever it is we are going to do.
I am all in favor of pointing people at the new lists right away. I
just think it ought to include some reminders before we do anything on
tigris.
