FW: svn update --set-depth exclude PATH question

Hi,

Is it possible to request a new feature to allow specify inclusion rules
for working copies in addition to exclusion rules? Ideally, one could
store several configurations on the server each with a separate list of
inclusion rules. A user could then specify a specific configuration at
check-out time when initially creating the working copy. The initial
check-out, updates, viewing log, etc. would then only operate of the
included directories.

Thanks,
Austin

Subject: svn update --set-depth exclude PATH question

Is there a way to handle sparse directories similar to "svn update
--set-depth exclude PATH question" but specifying only the directories
to include? The ability to exclude directories is very handy, but one
issue is that we have to keep a file for each project and its associated
exclusion rules and run a script to exclude these directories after we
get a working copy. If someone adds new folders to the repository then
the exclusion rules for every project needs to be updated and you have
to exclude the new directories from every working copy.

I also looked at svn externals but there were several limitations that
prevent using that.

Thanks,
Austin
