Subversion accepted into GSoC'09 as a mentoring organization

The Subversion project was recently accepted into Google's Summer of Code
program for 2009 as a mentoring organization. Subversion committers who
wish apply as mentors can, I think, do so now. Just visit:

   http://socghop.appspot.com

and setup an account for yourself. The app (Melange?) seems to do all its
primary associations via something called a "Link ID" (which at a minimum
unique-ify's URLs), so you need to actually register to create a Link ID --
your existing Google account name isn't enough. After you've registered in
the app, visit:

   http://socghop.appspot.com/mentor/request/google/gsoc2009/svn
