Re: [VOLUNTEER] New patch manager

Hi Everyone,

I have ben "lurking" around here on the svn mailing lists for a quite
a while now.
And have been looking for an appropriate way to contribute.

Although I know C/C++/Java - my real-life experience is more in
"hacking up" existing works as opposed to creation of code (in those
languages).
My full-time job is ColdFusion coding for web apps, where I use
Hibernate, Spring and a couple of CFML specific frameworks.
The point being, I don't think I have much to offer in terms of coding
ability to the svn source code.

However, time I have lots of, and enthusiasm too.
My employer is more than happy to let me participate in "outside"
activities as time permits, and like most coders never see bed before
0100.

So basically, unless someone better qualified/suited puts their hand
up for the Patch Manager role (with a little initial help) - I would
love to contribute my time / fresh eyes to role.
