That happens so they don't wind up in $PATH, and so that they require
additional frustration and customization to facilitate their use. Or,
that's how I've always seen in, anyway.

But, given that we have tools named 'diff' and 'diff3', potentially
clobbering an installation of the GNU diffutils toolchain seems kinda bad.
Perhaps we should rename those tools 'svn-diff' and 'svn-diff3' [and
'svn-diff4']?
