+0 for release - I didn't run the 8 way RA/FS test combinations, but I
did my usual Debian build and it looks good.

Paranoia:
- verified md5sum, sha1sum, tar.gz.gpg, tar.bz2.gpg
- verified tar.gz and tar.bz2 are identical, and identical to branch
except for expected release process differences

Build: normal Debian build process with same patches as I used in 1.5.4:
- python 2.4.5
- python 2.5.2
- ruby 1.8.7
- perl 5.10.0
- java: Debian's special blend of gcj 4.3 and ecj 3.3
- apache 2.2.9, apr 1.2.12, apr-util 1.2.12, neon 0.28.2

Testsuites:
- 'make check check-swig-py check-swig-pl check-swig-rb' all passed,
for both python 2.4 and python 2.5
- 'make check-javahl' failed in the way it always does with this compiler/JVM
