Re: Beer in Brussels on Saturday...

Dang! I'll be back in Brussels on Jan 13th. Just a bit late :-P

Two hours by car, and you can be at Westvleteren Abbey. The Cafe
serves their 12, which has been rated as the #1 beer on the planet for
a while now.

In Brussels, go to Delirium Cafe, which has a menu of beers that is a
few dozen *pages* long. Or go to Roy's on the Grand Place for a king
size Leffe (750ml!!). And for really late night, continue drinking
around the corner from Roys at a place called Celtica. They're open
until 5 or 6am.

Of course, when I go there, I just buy Leffe by the case, and drink at
home :-)
