I remember them - but the important bit is that the *ended*. The RSA
patent expired, and one of the last acts of the Clinton administration
was to move crypto out of Defense and into Export, with a broad open
source exemption. So one of the more traditionally problematic
jurisdictions just isn't that big a deal anymore.

(and as for Kerberos, if you're using Windows and you're using Active
Directory - "you're soaking in it" so it may not be as big a change as
you fear.)
